What are the audience's expectations of this type of presenter?

- knowledgeable of the subject

- to be on camera throughout, also providing a voice over.

How does this type of presenter differ from other types?

A documentary presenter differs from other types of presenter because they get involved with the subject and get an in depth knowledge of the subject.

This example is of Louis Thereoux, he is a well known documentary film maker and often gets involved with his subjects, often asking them a lot of questions that can get very personal. He is not biased and takes on board what his subject is talking about even if he doesn't agree.
